For tire reinforcement applications, CORDENKA^® can also be supplied as cord or cord fabric. The cord fabrics can be dipped for excellent adhesion to rubber. Our converting plant has been extensively modernized, including updated twisting, weaving and dipping processes.

Overview:

		Twisting: CORDENKA's installations include state-of-the-art twisters, to produce cord spools in a large variety of constructions. Outstanding runnability and efficiency can be achieved with our modern, direct cabling machines. Yarn counts range from dtex 1220 to dtex 3680 with double and triple ply constructions.

		Weaving: Our weaving facilities include high-performance machines with projectile weft insertion and modern air-jet looms: in this way we can supply our customers with a wide range of constructions, end counts and widths. CORDENKA’s weaving technology allows weaving both from beams and directly from creeled cord spools.

		Dipping of cord fabric CORDENKA's computer-operated dipping unit is designed to accommodate all dipping requirements. The improved winder ensures excellent control of fabric roll buildup, while providing the option of processing larger lengths of cord fabric.
