Fabrics & Cords

Depending on the specifications of our customers the yarns are twisted, corded or processed into cord fabrics. The cord fabrics can also be dipped for excellent adhesion to rubber.

Sodium Sulfate

Sodium sulfate is a by-product of the rayon production process and is used for detergent, glass, cement, coating, textile and chemical applications.

Applications

Tires & Runflat Tires

Due to the superior properties of rayon CORDENKA^® fibers are used for high-performance tires and original equipment tires and constitute the only appropriate reinforcement for state-of-the-art runflat tire types.

Mechanical Rubber Goods

An excellent volume constancy is one of the major benefits of brake hoses reinforced with CORDENKA^® rayon and in addition to its favorable mechanical properties, CORDENKA^® rayon's resistance to chemicals and its good processing features make it popular for the use in hose applications.

Composites
