CORDENKA presents municipal kindergartens in Erlenbach am Main with donation

As per tradition, in 2020 the kindergarten children of the surrounding communities will paint the pictures for the Cordenka Christmas cards.

On February 17th, the presentation of the donations took place at Erlenbach City Hall with the heads of the municipal kindergartens and Mayor Michael Berninger. The kindergartens were very happy about the donations. The money will be used to buy new playground equipment for the kindergarten children.

Exhibition Activities 2019

CORDENKA can look back on a very successful year of exhibitions.

The TireTech in Hanover, which traditionally took place in February, was the start. The TireTech is the most important exhibition and conference on tire manufacturing technologies in Europe.

The highlight of the year 2019 was the Techtextil in May 2019 in Frankfurt, where Cordenka presented itself with a new stand concept for the first time. The Techtextil in May in Frankfurt is the leading international exhibition for technical textiles and nonwovens and shows the entire spectrum of possible applications for textile technologies. More than 1,600 exhibitors from over 50 countries presented the entire value chain in the field of technical textiles.

The exhibition concluded with Composites Europe in Stuttgart, where we were represented for the first time as participants at the joint stand of Bayern Innovativ.

We are looking forward to welcome you at the following fairs in 2020:

February 25th-27th, 2020 Hanover TireTech
Mai 12th-14th, 2020 Paris JEC World

Joint stand of Bayern Innovativ

July 13th-17th, 2020 Hanover Hannover Messe

donations presented to elsenfeld nursery schools

For a number of years now, the Christmas cards of Cordenka GmbH und Co. KG have been enriched by motifs that were painted by nursery school children of Elsenfeld’s kindergartens, amongst other artists. Only a small selection of their colourful and very beautiful drawings can ever be included in this, unfortunately. Following an invitation by the mayor, Mr. Luxem, Cordenka’s own Ms. Wurster and the directors of Elsenfeld’s five nursery schools (Ms. Janetschek from “Rasselbande”, Ms. Sobolewski from “Abenteuerland”, Ms. Pokorny from “Sonnenschein”, Ms. Budnick from “Wunderland” and Ms. Theile representing the “Bärenhöhle” day-care centre) met in the town hall on 26/02/2018. As a small thank you, Ms. Wurster presented each nursery school with a financial donation enabling the respective facility’s individual wishes for the young artists to be realized. The young artists will also be presented with small gifts for their great contributions, naturally!

Pirelli’s “Day of Quality”

On November 08, Cordenka was represented at the International Day of Quality of our customer Pirelli in Breuberg. Under the motto “our materials”, Pirelli’s colleagues could get an impression of the raw materials needed for tire production. In the plant’s own training center, we had the opportunity to give a detailed presentation about Cordenka.

CORDENKA exhibits at the Techtextil

The Techtextil in Frankfurt in May is the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens and shows the entire spectrum of possible uses of textile technologies. More than 1,600 exhibitors from over 50 countries present the entire value creation chain in the area of technical textiles. For Cordenka, the most important trade fair presentation of them all. The many discussions with customers and the great interest of manufacturers looking for technical fibres based on sustainable commodities reflect the current increase in demand on the market. Our attractive stand, which proved to be particularly attractive due to the illuminated double glass floor filled with exhibits from the Cordenka and Cordus product palettes, went down very well and gained plenty of attention.

CORDENKA Christmas Card Campaign 2016

The pictures for CORDENKA Christmas cards are designed by kindergartens from the surrounding communities each year.
This year, the kindergartens Abenteuerhaus, Sonnenhügel and Altstadt from Obernburg have painted numerous colourful works of art.

Ms Wittmayer and Ms Wurster have given the little artists a present and have made a donation to the kindergartens.

We are already looking forward to next year with new great pictures!
